LUSBEN IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT THE MONACO YACHT SHOW 2023

The Monaco Yacht Show is the leading international show for superyachts and an important opportunity for Lusben to meet owners and captains and present the company’s refit and repair operations to them.

Lusben, which since 1956 has been carrying out tailor-made refit projects on superyachts, motor and sailing yachts from around the world, with certified quality and a reputation for excellence in the yachting industry, attends with its stand the Monaco Yachts Show held from September 27 to 30, 2023.

Against the prestigious backdrop of the Monaco Yacht Show, where the stars of the show are the world’s leading builders of superyachts up to and over 100 metres in length, Lusben meets the brokers, owners, captains and crew involved in past refit services and makes its pitch to other business partners with the aim of enlarging the company’s network of contacts.

Lusben will be in Monaco to talk about the company’s development and growth, including its plans for major investments in the Company’s shipyards. Today Lusben operates out of Livorno, Viareggio and Varazze, making use of infrastructure facilities with handling and lifting equipment capable of working on boats up to 180 metres long and weighing 15,000 tonnes, as well as qualified professionals for all refit, repair and maintenance requirements. And it’s because of the quality that Lusben can guarantee customers that the Company is increasingly seen as the benchmark in the yachting industry.

Lusben is in the process of implementing a major growth plan and ended the 2022-2023 season in line with its targets thanks to a series of important contracts that demonstrate the Company’s professionalism working on projects for large yachts: from the refit of the Maltese Falcon, the 88-metre sailing yacht launched last June, to maintenance work on various Lürssen superyachts.

Lusben is looking to the future and in the coming months will officially open an inspection pit for sailing yachts up to 70 metres in length. The modular pit, which will have a variable width and depth up to a maximum of 8 metres, will be the most important and versatile available in the Mediterranean, accommodating the fully extended centreboard of yachts so that the entire maintenance process can be handled.

“We want to welcome the 2023-2024 season with our participation in the Monaco Yacht Show, which is a strategic event for us because in the past we’ve closed some major contracts here and it gives us a point of contact with our existing and prospective customers. This year we’re presenting an even stronger and better performing company to our international audience,” said Lusben General Manager Giorgio Casareto.

“The contracts we received and the projects we successfully completed last year demonstrate that we have both the expertise and infrastructure to carry out projects of any size and complexity on both motor and sailing yachts. Starting this autumn, we’ll be able to offer not only the recently opened floating dock, but also a pit to inspect the centreboards of sailing yachts up to 70 metres in length, the only one of its kind in the Mediterranean,” said Lusben Commercial Director Gianni Paladino.
