Arcadia Yachts’ latest project, A96, has won the Best of the Best 2024 award in the motoryacht category, one of the most competitive in the annual awards competition organised by the Robb Report, the US lifestyle and luxury magazine regarded as a benchmark for the international yachting industry and other areas.
The focus of this yacht’s design is to create a sense of holistic wellbeing, in which moments of sharing alternate with others in deep communion with nature. The interior design is by Igor Lobanov, whose sleekly curving lines and dark lacquered surfaces are inspired by Art Deco. The jury was struck by the unusual amount of living space on board this yacht, with her generous 24-foot beam, but most importantly by the design, which acts as an invitation to enjoy the open-air life in absolute comfort and conviviality.
“This award is yet another confirmation that A96, which charts a new course for the yard, has tapped into the desires of modern owners in search of total wellbeing,” commented the shipyard’s CEO Ugo Pellegrino. “With this design, we embrace and point up the strengths of our two lines, offering on one hand the huge water’s edge terraces in the stern, highly manoeuvrable propulsion system and 23-24 knot top speed of the Sherpa range and, on the other, the immense volumes and sumptuously high level of service of the A line. Accompanied of course by contact with nature, which is a constant across all our models and runs much deeper here thanks to spaces that merge into the surrounding panorama through impressive opening windows.”
