CMC Marine takes its new product and technology developments to Cannes, featuring a mix of complementary innovations designed to improve manoeuvrability and onboard comfort while continuing to boost energy efficiency and reduce consumption levels in the interests of sustainability.
CMC Marine tells its story at the Cannes Yachting Festival through the company’s new communication campaign – “We did it first” and “We drive the change” – summing up in simple language its past, its identity and its rare capacity to revolutionize a market, something few other businesses can boast, as well as the spirit of innovation that keeps it one step ahead.
“Curiosity is what drives innovation, the willingness to put yourself on the line, question everything and think outside the box to find answers. All this enables us to keep us one step ahead and stay on course.” This is the philosophy of Alessandro Cappiello, CEO of CMC Marine, and it’s what drives the company’s ongoing innovation as it gathers momentum across new technologies, new software developments, and new and at times revolutionary products.
The Tuscan company has announced the upcoming extension of the CMC Marine Waveless STAB range with the introduction of the new STAB50, a project that will reach the market in 2024. Nearing completion is a software development that upgrades the integration between the CMC Marine system and helm station screens. While the new commissioning software for the Stabilis Electra and Waveless STAB lines, developed to maximize setting efficiency and optimize testing times and methods, is already offering customers new levels of service.
CMC Marine’s stand (PALAIS 039) will be exhibiting two top of the line products: the CMC Marine Stabilis Electra HS60 stabilizer fin for boats over 24 metres, featuring optimized fin profiles, electronics in continual evolution and a system that reduces overall dimensions and weight while delivering enhanced performance, and the STAB25, an ultra-compact fin suitable for yachts between 18 and 24 metres, which it will be possible to see in action at Cannes. The CMC Marine Waveless STAB range, for yachts 12 metres in length and over, offers the most compact full-electric stabilizers on the market, designed for simple and rapid installation, zero maintenance, reduced noise and high reliability.
Thanks to its comprehensive range, CMC Marine can proudly claim that its systems are deployed on the most famous and iconic yachts on show at the Cannes Yachting Festival, boats built by shipyards of the calibre of Azimut, Arcadia, Baglietto, Benetti, Cantiere delle Marche, Numarine, Sanlorenzo, Sunseeker and Van Der Valk.
“Being chosen by the world’s most representative and important shipyards testifies to our company’s capacity to anticipate market needs, which is based on the management’s long experience and ongoing commitment to personnel training and investments in research and development,” commented Veronica Festa, Head of Sales at CMC Marine. “We pioneered electric stabilization in the industry, and this gives us an edge that the market recognises in terms of competitiveness and experience. It was to reflect this reputation in fact that we produced our new communication campaign”.
CMC Marine will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 from September 12 to 17, stand PALAIS 039.
