Gulf Craft to showcase its prestigious Majesty 111, which was recently awarded Best Interior Design at the World Yachts Trophies during Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, alongside the award-winning Majesty 120
Gulf Craft, one of the world’s leading boat and yacht manufacturers is set to make a grand entrance at the Monaco Yacht Show, showcasing the European debut of its Majesty 111, recently honoured with the prestigious “Best Interior Design” award at the World Yachts Trophies 2023, reaffirming Gulf Craft’s commitment to setting new standards of excellence in the yachting world.
Gulf Craft is proud to present the Majesty 111, an exquisite superyacht that has garnered significant attention in the yachting industry. This stunning vessel not only represents the epitome of luxury but also boasts an opulent and thoughtfully designed interior that seamlessly blends contemporary aesthetics with timeless elegance, providing an unparalleled experience for discerning yacht enthusiasts.
In addition to the Majesty 111, Gulf Craft is proud to showcase the award-winning Majesty 120 at the Monaco Yacht Show. This year, the Majesty 120 has earned well-deserved acclaim, notably winning the prestigious Eco Award and Best Naval Architecture Award in BOAT International’s Design & Innovation Awards. It also secured the title of Best Motor Yacht (25-40 Metres) at the Design et al International Yacht & Aviation Awards. These accolades further reinforce its status within the Majesty Yachts collection, celebrated for its innovative design, expansive interior, and exceptional performance.
The event will also spotlight Gulf Craft’s substantial contributions to the yachting and marine services sector in the Maldives. The shipyard has already begun work on a new facility located on its own island in the Maldives. This new facility will be dedicated to building Gulf Craft boats and yachts specifically for the local tourism industry and with an aim to export similar models to neighbouring countries in SE Asia. This 10-million-dollar investment underlines Gulf Craft’s commitment to supporting the Maldivian and SE Asian market, in addition to its existing facilities that have been building and servicing yachts and boats since 2002.
Gulf Craft Chairman, Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, commented: “We are delighted to present our acclaimed Majesty Yachts at the Monaco Yacht Show,” expressed Mohammed Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft. “The European premiere of the Majesty 111 underscores our unwavering commitment to pushing the frontiers of yacht design. Equally, we take great pride in our transformative role in the Maldives, where we have been instrumental in enhancing both the transportation and tourism sectors within the region.”
About the Majesty 111
The Majesty 111’s exterior and interior styling is a joint effort between Gulf Craft and the Netherlands-based Phathom Studio. Phathom’s bold exterior lines, refined interior aesthetics, and yacht design flair complemented Gulf Craft’s seasoned yacht-building expertise to develop a new generation of fresh and energetic Majesty yachts.
The Majesty 111 features a 6-cabin layout – 5 plush lower deck guest cabins and a cathedral-like 15sqm forward VIP cabin, a first in its size segment that redefines spatial planning. Optimised liveability and the seamless indoor-outdoor connection are achieved through large and tall expanses of glazing, nearly 40% more than a sub-100 ft yacht, for a light and airy atmosphere in the interiors and unrestricted exterior views throughout various segregated social zones on the various decks. A large open deck for configurable furniture arrangements, an asymmetric sky lounge with panoramic views, a foredeck plunge pool, ample storage spaces both inside and outside for marine toys, a 4m+ tender, jet ski at the swim platform are integrated through meticulous market research, and trend forecasting for a broader global market.
The Majesty 111 is built with innovative energy-saving systems onboard that optimise energy use. State-of-the-art CFD simulation tools and analysis helped us optimise the hull for superior performance. It enables the Majesty 111 to attain the highest possible speed using available power while achieving the least possible consumption at cruising speed. An optional heat recovery system extracts heat from chillers and generators to deliver full climate control and fresh hot water without consuming electricity.
